Welcome to The Foreigner Times

My perspective of life for better or worse.

What a wonderful time to be alive

The most dangerous writing app, is no longer, the most dangerous writing app. At least is not the same name. Still same concept but under another name, I guess now is owned by another company. I also guess that’s normal. When something is so good, someone with power must have it. Me, I am still figuring out what to do with this blog, and vlog, and podcast of mine. For a while I was writing, not very often but now and then. Later, I started to create videos and “vlogs” with my iPhone, my drone and then with a gopro. I was super excited. But after some time, I left it behind as well. I still have my Blog, with my own domain and shit. Just haven’t post anything in a long time. I still have my Vlog/YouTube Channel. Just haven’t been posting regularly anymore. Now I have my podcast “channel”, still not sure what to do with it….Today I just have the thought that this is a wonderful time to be alive.

–Alright, the “most dangerous writing app” now called squibler have passed the 5 minutes mark. This means I can stop typing for more than 5 seconds without losing my work. —

Yesterday while listening to my new audio book “Accessory to war” by Neil deGrasse Tyson (try it here from Audible), I started to think more about the fragile balance that we live in. The world we see “balance itself” between wars, nuclear threats, earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, asteroids passing near the earth, tornados, mortal diseases, flu virus, wild life threat, global warming, corrupt politicians, crazy murderers, social media… and having a life. Despite all of this, you will wake up any given Monday at 5:30am, brush your teeth, do some pull-ups before showering and prepare yourself to start your day and not hesitate, not even for a second, about what could go wrong just at your doorstep in this marvelous world.

We usually chose to see all the opportunities that comes with the sunrise, a new day, new places to go, people to meet, experiences to live, things to learn… or at least that’s what comes to my head.

“What a wonderful time to be alive” I say to myself.
