Snow + Tuica = Happy New Year

It’s time to tell you more about me.
First of all my mother tongue is Spanish. Saying that, expect some spelling and grammatical errors 😉 . I will do my best to avoid them.
Sometimes you will find some post in Spanish that would give us more chances to practice our “multicultural skills”.
The idea of this blog is to share my adventures with doses of humor, and you will find out all kind of topics in different categories like: travelling, food, technology, sports and more. I am still in the process of giving some shape to this new experience of being a blogger, some details are still no very well established… yet.
I am originally from Costa Rica, some newspapers and articles have said it is the happiest country in the world 🙂 🙂 🙂 . Let’s put that to the test.
Costa Rica it’s a very small and beautiful country in Central America, NOT in South America like many people believes (check this wikipedia links 😉 . It’s not an island either and the capital of this paradise is San Jose (San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico). Any resemblance between these two countries is purely coincidental. Well, we share similarities also by geographical location and the Spanish colonization (and the current “Americanization”)
I work for a company that helps me put many stamps in my passport. And that is very convenient because I love to travel and meet new people, new places and different cultures. I visited already 23 Countries of the world, and that’s just 10%!! So I need to start working harder to meet the rest!
Everywhere I go I try to do new things, different things, local things. And here in Romania skiing is something common in winter. It is not my first time skiing, but honestly, I can handle it very good, taking in to consideration that where I come from we have no snow!
The same with ice skating. 😀
Ski day is over, and now is time to celebrate new year’s and drink some Tuica with my Romanian friends (and some Hungarians as well, but with them I drink Palinca 😉 )
Happy new years to all!!
Best wishes,
The “iceman” Foreigner
